Product Overview
BOPP PP Woven Bag combines a woven polypropylene (PP) fabric substrate with a biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film laminated to the outer surface. It is suitable for packaging fertilizers, grains, feed, chemicals, flour and other dry bulk products where both mechanical durability and high-quality graphics are required. The bags can be manufactured in open-mouth, gusseted, sewn or valve configurations according to the filling method, product weight and downstream handling requirements.

Material Structure & Protection Performance
The bag uses a composite PP-BOPP structure:
- BOPP outer film: Provides a smooth printable surface with improved resistance to moisture, dust and surface abrasion.
- Woven PP fabric: Forms the primary load-bearing layer and provides tensile and tear resistance.
For moisture-sensitive powders and granules, BOPP lamination provides substantially better surface protection than an uncoated woven sack. Where additional internal containment is required, a PE liner can be incorporated as a separate barrier layer.
Mechanical Performance
Mechanical performance is determined by the fabric GSM, tape denier, weave density, bag dimensions, seam construction and bottom design.
For bulk products handled through filling, palletizing and long-distance transportation, the bottom seam and stress concentration areas should be specified together with the target filling weight. Double-fold or reinforced stitching can be used where higher seam strength is required.
Printing & Surface Finish
The BOPP film provides a smooth, dimensionally stable printing surface suitable for detailed graphics, fine text, product information, barcodes and brand artwork. Gravure printing is commonly used where high-resolution, multi-color graphics and large production quantities are required.
Both gloss and matte BOPP finishes can be specified. Printing coverage, color requirements and finish should be confirmed from the final artwork before production.
Filling, Closure & Handling
Filling: Available in open-mouth and valve configurations for manual, semi-automatic or automatic filling.
Closure: Open-mouth bags can be closed by single or double sewing; heat sealing is available for compatible constructions. Valve bags can use self-closing valve designs or additional sealing when required.
Bottom Construction: Options include sewn bottom, pinch bottom and block bottom, selected according to load requirements and palletizing needs.
Gusset: Side gussets can increase bag capacity and improve package shape and stacking stability.
Quality Control
Quality inspection should cover both raw materials and finished-bag performance. Key checkpoints include fabric GSM, weave density, bag dimensions, lamination adhesion, print quality, seam integrity, bag weight and load-related mechanical performance.
For production orders, finished bags can also be checked through drop, tensile and related performance tests according to the agreed specification or applicable customer standard.
Manufacturing & Customization
Xunlian operates an integrated PP woven packaging production system covering PP tape extrusion, weaving, printing, lamination and bag manufacturing. The company states that its facility covers 35,910 m² with an annual manufacturing capacity of approximately 8,000 tons. Custom production can be developed from an existing bag sample, drawing, dimensions, photographs or previous supplier specification.
